Ideas for research

So I have been thinking about ideas for research. As for as topics that pertain to millennial history I was thinking it would be interesting to research the reduced role and reduction of power of the royal family and how that came to be. There seems to be quite a lot of debate about how much power Queen Elizabeth II truly has. I think this idea could be very interesting because it involves the affects modernism has had on british culture and could include many perspectives.
